Tahiti

Is been a super fun trip, been here for almost 4weeks, staying with my friend Baptiste Gossein, been surfing, Standup paddling and windsurfing quite a few gnarly sessions, the waves here are heavy no matter what you ride on them, they re super heavy, fast, beautiful and almost always barreling, I ve been using only my 4,5 and 4,2 quite a surprising, where I thought the wind would be so light here, but it does get windy, now just about to go windsurf Teahupoo and hopefully the set will be consistent, cause we were expecting some big swells last weekend, but never showed up, only the crowed from around the world who made the peak packed :) I also scored 2 big waves towed in by Baptist, ( I thank him so much, the 2 biggest and widest barrels of my life ) and I also broke 3 surf boards on this trip, getting caught in the barrel or not making my air drop,, so tricky and need so much talent and experience in waves,.,and in barrels :) Hopefully the shots will be published sometime soon in the magazines. So happy with my trip here, the time I spent with my friend Baptist, meeting new friends and good people and the times in the water, I always love coming to this place, with amazing vibes, and I hope I can make it back every year. Pics will come soon

This been long time again

It has been quite a while I didnt post much on my progress.. I am back slowly to the water, jumping more than surfing, injured foot is the back one in the footstrap when surfing, and it's not feeling strong yet, I am recovering and getting back my strength, fasting Ramadan, not so easy to workout with no much in the tummy,, I am voted for the Redbull Storm Chase event, based on chasing the biggest storms around the world, which is quite a sick event, So stocked to be part of it, thank to the friends, family and fans who voted for me, I am still struggling to workout a visa for Australia in case next week we have the first mission in Tasmania, so finger crossed, I spent a whole month working out all this visas, Europe, UK, Tahiti, Peru, and now Australia, but also a Japan but didnt make that one yet.,. will see with the forecast later. I am about to pack, either head to one of those destinations, one 2 tickets are booked, I just hope things will workout the way I so hope.. inchalah will go where meant to be. Our DVD Don't Let Go is almost done and out, and also the LAND movie is about to start shooting on October, great story about windsurfing, life in Morocco and how a local windsurfer from Moulay meet up with a dutch girl and off season he get bored and deep and decide to cross the Atlantic heading north from Morocco to Europe, and discover his home country in an amazing journey trough the coast of Morocco, starring Fettah Ahllmara and Thekla Reuten (The American). And I will be playing my actual role, being a professional windsurfer, friend of all the locals.

This is taking too long.. An injury can turn your windsurf life upside down, it is hard to keep up, everyday, all you can do is rest and wait, maybe it will feel better the next day, 2 months later you take off the cast and start to try it out, it hurts still, cant bear weight on it, maybe some windsurfing will do good, but unfortunately, no, it still hurt, cant have it in a footstrap, I cant even move around on the board to tack or so, I can backloop thou and 360 and it hurts, but cant bottom turn, still hurts and all you think about is that foot when you sailing, you forget about the board feeling or the sail's. passion is a cure, it is the cure to all, I didnt reach the level of madness yet... I will be back soon..

Hookipa was good yesterday, not super good, but better than nothing,, wind and swell kinda onshore thou, still managed to get some waves, after realizing my fin boxes were sucking water, I had to let my board dry and get an other board from Kanaha Kai maui surf shop, thank to Bart for letting me use the Quad69 2010, caught couple nice waves with it,, and here is a shot, thanks to JC. Just got to the Hawaiian time, been windsurfing since I got here it's been super fun, windy everyday, powered up with my Gator 4.5 and some sick down the line on the Evo71 built on a twin,, pretty sick,, Huge back loop today, but not the one on the pic now,

By the way, I am working with a friend to edit some nice footage been filming by my friend Soufian in Morocco, Mathias from http://www.altair-prod.com will edit and put online soon,, its soon and its gonna look the best ever... B

We just had an insane windy week with some decent waves, lot of surfs and jumps, so ready to be in Maui now, I cant wait looking at the pics of everyone already there,, Hope I can edit a clip before leaving on Monday. B

Check this bill out, I just found it with some old papers and tickets, I will frame this receipt, 79kg, at AUD5293, my biggest airline ripoff, Don't ever fly Quantas trough Asia. Looking forward to my flight with Saudi Airlines to the Philippines, and feels like gonna be at least a 200USD for my few extra Kg, knowing that am not checking a cloth bag.

Been long time

Dear all, I ve been on a break cruising lot around my home country, surfing, standup paddling lot and windsurfing few, ( there is an amazing forecast heading toward us with a chance to score some siiiick down the line spots,, very excited about that) I was supposed to be in Australia right now for the Ledge to Lancelin race and wave comp, but my visa got delayed and still didnt receive it till now.. so I might be staying here for a little longer,, actually I am very looking forward to an other trip somewhere in Asia around early Feb, it is gonna be really fun.. and then to the event in Cap Verde?? Is it really happening? I am so excited about it if it does happen it is gonna be super fun.. Days been short here, and yesterday I had some crazy sailing in some 50Knots wind, maybe more sometimes because I couldnt not hold no more my 3.7 or move,,, Today I had my first very very cold surf, full on 5/4 wetsuit with hood gloves and boots, coming back from a nice session finding the snow all over the place, took a while to warm up back again.. and to end it up in style, got invited for super quality dinner with Hans.W, with in the menu lobster that he caught himself, By Norway, cant wait to be back
